"BLANKETS OF HAPPINESS" — INFORMATION SHEET
The "BLANKETS OF HAPPINESS" exhibition is a collection of blankets made by communities, whose goal is to connect people, to inspire them and to raise awareness of the power of creative expression. The exhibition is organised by the Blue Hat Project.
Where to from here?
The exhibition will be touring Australian communities from December 2008 to August 2009. Communities are encouraged to add a blanket 'Creation' to the travelling exhibition. The exhibition’s return to Melbourne in August 2009 will be celebrated with a Gala Dinner, and an auction, to raise money. Remaining blankets distributed to homeless people.
How can you contribute?
There are several ways to contribute and involve yourself in this Project, and to keep it alive:
• You can make a blanket yourself
• You can make a blanket with others in your community
• You can host or promote the exhibition on its journey
• You can make a welcome tax deductible financial contribution*

Where does the money go?
Financial contributions are needed to move the Project forward. Blankets of Happiness and the Blue Hat Project are part of the Port Phillip EcoCentre, a registered not-for profit charity. Money raised will benefit the EcoCentre's mission to work with the community to improve and protect the natural environment and ensure good living for future generations.
